How to Check if Your WAEC or NECO Result is on JAMB Website

This post will guide you on how you can check both your O’Level and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.

Before continuing your admission process, you should make sure that your O’Level result is uploaded on the JAMB portal in case of any issues. Follow these steps:

Why One Must Check for O’Level Result?

The management of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has said that candidates that were declared awaiting results will not be admitted into universities. Therefore, ensure that your result is uploaded before the expiry of this date.

Step-by-Step Guide

• Visit the official web page of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
• Sign in with the email and password, if you are using a mobile device, switch to the desktop mode.
• You will then find the link that says ‘Check Admission Status’ at the bottom of the page.
• Click ‘Access my CAPS’
• After clicking on the ‘My O’Level Result’, you will be able to check if your result has been uploaded

What to Expect

If the result is uploaded, it will show the grades you get for the course. If not, instead of the ‘Result Waiting’ message, you’ll see ‘A/R’. Note that as we mentioned earlies, JAMB cannot process admission for candidates with ‘Waiting Result’ status.
